“To do better is better than to be perfect.”

We dedicate our lives to help children because we believe we can make a difference in kids' futures by equipping people with information and practical tools for raising and educating kids.
The Keedzi Training team consists of mother and daughter duo Delana and Lauren Coetzee.
We prefer to do in-person trainings for a more hands-on personable experience, but in the hope to reach those who would never be able to do this in-person, we also do virtual trainings.
We present and develop custom training courses in Early Child Development with a focus on challenging behavior, Trauma Informed Care, Coping skills for kids, and Self Care and Coping Skills for Adults. We also help people through Healing and Parenting/Care Giver Support groups.
Our virtual instructor-led seminars and workshops feature real-time interaction with our expert trainers. Small breakout sessions and discussions allow you to ask questions, receive feedback and gain new insights from others. Contact us to arrange a virtual meeting to discuss your professional development needs.
We believe who we are is rooted in our belief system. We are Christ followers and our support groups are grounded in the Christian faith. The programs we present are designed and based on Biblical principles, proven mental health strategies and evidence-based practices.
The importance of enhancing people's capacity for resilience and post traumatic growth is highlighted throughout our trainings. Trauma informed care practice embraces the concept that people can experience a sense of being capable and that they can be encouraged to take part in their own recovery.
Children may experience developmental delays such as emotional and cognitive problems or attachment disorders if traumatic events disrupt relationships with parents or caregivers. This may result in challenging behavior in the home, in public, at school or at church. Our training programs are trauma informed and start with 8 core sessions to empower people with knowledge and practical skills to self evaluate their ability to care and connect with children in their care and to identify areas that need improvement or intervention.
The focus of these training courses will be to encourage and equip parents, teachers and child care workers to practice self-care regularly in order to be the best version of themselves, for each other and the children that they care for. We examine the possible causes and the impact of unresolved trauma on caregivers and the challenges it presents in the context of a caregiving profession.
